Safeguarding & Child Protection

Last updated: 13 June 2026

SportsBlitz covers school and club sport, so child protection is built into how the platform works. This page is for parents, schools, and sports coordinators who want to understand exactly how we handle anything involving children.

Adults only — no child accounts, no child data

Accounts on SportsBlitz are for adults (18+). We never create accounts for children and we do not store any personal information about minors. We hold no learner names, no player rosters, and no individual performance data.

Teams are age-group labels, not children

A team on SportsBlitz is recorded as an age-group label such as “U14A” under a school or club. Results are team scores (for example 19–12). Nothing on the platform identifies an individual child.

Photos: consent and your responsibility

Users may upload match-day photos. When you upload, you confirm you have the right to share the image, including the consent of anyone identifiable in it. Do not upload images intended to identify or expose a child without the consent of their parent or guardian.

Reporting and takedown

If any photo should not be online, you can report it from within the app, or email our Information Officer at rizaan@gmail.com. Our team can hide or permanently remove a photo, and we act on safeguarding reports promptly. Schools can also ask us to disable photos entirely for their association (scores-only).

Questions from schools

If you are a school or sports coordinator with a safeguarding question before endorsing SportsBlitz to parents, please get in touch at rizaan@gmail.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
